If anyone can stop this, we can.
At every stage of the police investigation I will be investigating too, to take the case apart piece by piece and to build a strong defence around you. I build and maintain close contact with the Officer leading the investigation and take a proactive approach so that the police are clear, from the moment we’re involved, that your side of the story deserves to be heard too.
At the end of their investigation, the police make a decision whether or not to charge. This stage is absolutely vital.
I can present full written representations, to the police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), which details why it should not proceed. And if this proves impossible then we work on, to prepare you and your case, taking every step necessary to fight fearlessly for you in court.
Supporting you and your family.
Whatever hell you’re going through, your loved ones are going through the same, or worse. At every stage I can help ease the pressure on you and everyone around you. I can help you explain the situation and help them to understand the truth beyond the allegations and the calm that’s still possible beyond the crisis.
My way of thinking.
You can’t just hope for the best. It’s tempting to think everything will be fine. But this is nothing like you’ve known before. Things will only go well, if you make sure they do. If you’re accused of sexual offences things can feel as if they’ve turned very bad, very quickly. You need the right advice. Right now.
If you don’t know what to do, at least do something. We all function best when we’re thinking straight. But if you’ve been accused of something serious, your mind is probably pointing in every direction at once. You have to bring order to the chaos, and the best way of doing that is to get professional advice. I can help you get clear on your legal rights and help you assert them straightaway.
Don’t just wait and see. You might be tempted to wait, thinking that ‘someone will see sense’ and things will just ‘blow over’. But perhaps they won’t, and you will be shocked at how fast things can move against you. Don’t wait. Get legal advice so that you are prepared for whatever is ahead.
